He is passionate about the works and techniques of the Old Flemish Masters. Through studying their methods, he gained a stunning level of skill in his own work. Peter started to create his own contemporary visions. Casting a critical eye on our modern society, his compositions are very poetic and sensitive. The observer is forced to interact with the paintings, to come to their own conclusions and last, but not least, to enjoy their beauty and admire their craftsmanship. Education: 1968 the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp 1973 the National Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Antwerp Exhibitions: During his career, Peter has won several awards and his paintings were exhibited in Antwerp, Brussels, Amsterdam and recently London. His works can be found in both private and public collections worldwide." |
